First time home buyers are becoming more interested in San Diego Real Estate as an investment in their futures.
Here are a few hot micro-markets that are ideal for first time buyers:
• 91910 – Rancho Del Rey – Newer homes (2000’s), low HOA’s, no Mello Roos – mid to high 3’s for detached homes.
• 92105 – City Heights – Azalea Park, mid to high 3’s, smaller homes perhaps no garauntees on the garage!
• 92009 – La Costa – Ocean close, shopping, restaurants – 2 bedroom, 1500 sq foot with a 2 car garage
• 92081 – Vista – Shadowridge – more home vs Carlsbad 3 bedrooms in the mid-high 3’s. Buy with as little as 3% down conventional loans for mortgages under $417,000. No PMI! Rates are still in the low 4’s and if they were to go up a point over the next year, waiting could cost you a few hundred dollars a month.
